3 days into the new year and already I'm a slacker. I haven't updated here and I didn't go to the gym all weekend. Hopefully this isn't how the year will play out.
I did go to the gym this afternoon and all I can say about that is : Holy Resolutionists!
The New Year's Resolutionists were out in full force. For the most part, I don't have a problem with these people. It's even fun to try and pick out who will stick with it! I do have a problem with the obnoxious resolutionists and is it any surprise that they came in the form of stay at home moms today? 4 of them, lined up all pretty on the recumbant bikes. Their hair perfectly in place, their makeup touched up, their new workout clothes perfectly coordinated to whatever flavor of Propel fitness water they were drinking. *gag* They sat there speaking loud enough for anybody on the cardio equipment to hear them discussing how they were going to get into such great shape and blah blah blah... To quote the person on the elliptical next to me "I hope they drop off soon."
My workout today was:
Treadmill - 15 minutes
Elliptical - 25 minutes
Treadmill - 10 minutes
My nutrition today as planned is 1607 calories (18% fat, 47% carbs and 35% protein). I need to work on that, but it's good and it gives me a little wiggle room for when I decide I need a snack at 10pm.
The weather forcast for the next 2 days is not good. Lots of snow and the potential for more sleet. I might have to work out at home and I hate that!
