Random crap

I've got lots of things I could blog about but none of it is of any interest to anybody but me. Somebody told me recently that it doesn't matter, people blog for themselves not other people.

I have quite a lovely bruise on my collarbone. Its now mostly yellow, but for a day or two it was a nice purple and green. What I want to know is why nobody is buying the story that I dropped a weight? Its a perfectly logical explanation. It's possible to be doing shoulder presses with sweaty hands and drop a weight.

A guy a work asked me how I got the bruise and when I told him the story, he said "Yeah, right, what's his name?"

Speaking of work, I was a little stressed there last night. A nasty storm was coming through Omaha and they were predicting good sized hail. Great. Aside from the car payment, this is the worst part of having a new car. I was talking to a guy in Delaware at one point and he asked me if we were safe from the storms. I told him about my car concerns. He said "You can get another car, you can't get another you!" Blah blah blah...He was right though. "It's just a car, it's just a car." If I say it enough, I start to believe it.

Luckily, we were all safe and no hail came down in the part of Omaha I work in.

After work, I went to the gym. What would a blog post be without something about the gym and Dan the trainer. Or my new cardio buddy, Dave the cardio buddy. Not to be confused with Big sexy Dave. Dave the cardio buddy said something hilarious this morning, but I won't post our conversations until I get his permission. Dan the trainer told Dave how to find my blog, so maybe he'll read this. I tried pretending that I was pissed at Dan for giving up the blog, but I can't do it. I can't stay mad at Dan, I just want to squeeze him. I will name him George and I will hug him and squeeze him...

Today was leg day with Dan. Following is an excerpt from the daily perverted conversation:

"My thighs are burning"

"Do I need to massage them? With my mouth?"

"Yeah, and I'm sore a little bit higher, too."
