Holiday TV marathons and Dan the trainer

Not necessarily in that order.

I worked out with Dan the Trainer tonight. I've been really slacking lately, in regard to my food and workouts and my progress has completely stalled. I told Dan tonight that I needed to get my act back together. After all, its less than 5 months until the dreaded bridesmaid dress.

So, we discussed my workout and food plans. Dan told me "If you cheat on your food plan, I want you to call me. Even if it's one Cheeto, call me. You're going to feel stupid if it's just one Cheeto, though." I asked if I should make the cheat worth it then and eat a pizza.

I didn't bother reminding Dan that I work nights and my usual cheat time is after midnight. Hee!

Holiday TV Marathons -

Bravo is showing a Biggest Loser Marathon again this year on New Years Day. I never watch the show at its regularly scheduled time, but the marathon appeals to my short attention span. I get to see everybody start the show in the morning and then at night I get to see who wins.

Now I'm curious what other channels are showing.

TLC is showing a marathon of grossly obese people. I suppose if I get bored with watching people work their asses off, and starve themselves on Bravo, I can watch people whine and cry on Inside Brookhaven Obesity Clinic, Big Medicine, Half Ton man, and I eat a shitload of calories every day.

VH1 is subjecting its New Year's viewers to Americas Next Top Model. Nothing about this show appeals to me, especially Tyra Banks. She's an idiot.

Sci Fi channel is showing The Twilight Zone all day. I can only assume they are showing the pig face one.

Discovery channel has a full day of Dirty Jobs on tap. Mmm, Mike Rowe. I hope they show the one where he takes his shirt off.

A&E at first glance was a predictable disappointment - CSI Miami. Blech. But, checking the whole day, it looks like they are showing 8 episodes of First 48 starting at 7pm.

USA's marathon is Monk. What? No Law and Order?

TNT - Law and Order. All is right with the world. Not that I'll watch any of it, but L&O being on TV all hours of the day is like breathing. You don't give it much thought until you stop breathing and then you are dead.

None of this matters, I'll probably be asleep all day.
