Elton John!

I saw Elton John in concert tonight at the Qwest Center. It was a lot of fun, and as expected he puts on a great show. He played for about 2 hours and 45 minutes, including the encore. I think my favorite songs tonight were Rocket Man, Levon, and Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, but everything he sang and played was fantastic. He didn't just play the songs like you hear them on the radio, 3 minutes and out. I guess the best way to put it is that he jammed. Rocket Man was incredible.

I don't know why I didn't take my camera, but I had my cell phone. The pictures suck. The first one is of him standing on his piano bench and you really can't see anything, and the second one is him on the big screen. I took more, but they are basically the same thing. The pictures don't do justice to our seats either, we were closer than it seems.
