Nice round number

I was weighed at the doctors office today and I am down a total of 50 pounds!

Another good thing is that I am now off my high blood pressure medication. YAY! But I had to find out the hard way. Last night at work, at about 3am, I got dizzy, nauseous and broke out in a cold sweat. I stood up to go throw up in the bathroom and wound up on the floor. The floor felt good. As soon as I was laying down, I felt fine. After a few minutes I got up and went back to my seat, but it all started up again. I got back on the floor and felt fine. I stayed there for about 15 minutes. I felt a lot better, but not great. My poor co-workers! Anyway, I left work and was concerned enough that I went to the emergency room. My blood pressure was 103/50. Blood work and urinalysis came back normal so they sent me home.

I was there for a couple hours, long enough to listen to the drama in the next room play out. Somebody was brought in that had been involved in a domestic dispute. Apparently she already had a restraining order against the guy. Cops were over there asking her if she wanted to press charges, but i couldn't make out what her answer was. Sad. I hope she said yes.


I went and saw my Dr this morning and after filling him in on all the drama he said that I was either pregnant or it was from the high blood pressure meds. Thank goodness it was the medication. He said that I've lost enough weight that I probably don't need it anymore. I'm supposed to check it once a week for a few weeks just to be sure.
