I was HUNGRY this morning. I ate a piece of pork tenderloin, half of a roasted red pepper, 4 medium hard boiled eggs, and 2 egg whites (gotta watch that cholesterol, right?).
The breakdown of my breakfast according to fitday:
Total Calories - 448
Fat - 23 grams, 206 calories 48%
Carbs - 4 grams, 15 calories 3%
Protein - 53 grams, 211 calories 49%
I feel like I ate a lot more than that, but I think it's the 23 grams of fat.
I've noticed a couple other things this week that I need to be aware of. Coffee with cream is fine, but if I try and add sugar free flavored syrup, I'm screwed. The other thing is that real mayonnaise tastes good. I haven't had mayonnaise or Miracle Whip in a long time, like years, but I bought a small thing of real mayonnaise to make tuna salad and it was really good. I can see how mayonnaise can be a problem for some people.
I picked an interesting week to cut my carb intake, but it turned out to be a good thing. Normally this week I would be bloated and fighting cravings like crazy, but I haven't had either one of those problems. Also, normally on this Friday I would have had to fight to button my jeans from all the bloat, but not today. Yay! for flushing water weight.
