Eastbound and down

I went to the gym today and walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes. Today's workout involved upping the speed and incline every 5 minutes. I was sweating like crazy quickly. It didn't help that the gym was really hot. It's not uncommon for the place to be either too hot or too cold during season changes.

As I was walking toward my car to go back to work, I saw something laying in the parking lot next to my car. Thanks to cell phone technology, I can show you that it was fake hillbilly teeth.

As if that wasn't bad enough, I happened to be listening to the classic country radio station on the way to the gym, so when I turned the car on I've got Jerry Reed singing the Smokey and the Bandit theme song. I hope these two things aren't part of some bigger message the universe is trying to send me.

I have to tell you my favorite line from Smokey and the Bandit.
(from IMDB)

[Regarding The Bandit in a hammock]
Big Enos: Son, you're looking at a legend.
Little Enos: I guess a legend and an out-of-work bum look a lot a like, daddy.
