More about food

I'm trying not to eat it, so I'll blog about it.

When the hell did Taco Bell decide to start using cilantro in their food?  It's fricken TACO BELL.  They shouldn't be using cilantro.  They could probably get by with some dried parsley flakes if they really feel they need something green.

I *hate* cilantro.  It's tastes like soap to me, and I don't mean the good, froofy smelling Philosophy body wash stuff.  I'm talking a bar of Dial here.  People think I'm a little bit crazy, but it's quite common.  Google 'cilantro taste' or 'cilantro tastes like ass'.  I am not the only one.

My newest favorite dinner protein is scrambled egg whites (9 of them = 150 calories).  Last night it was egg whites. steamed broccoli and cauliflower with lemon pepper and leftover new potatoes.    Its very quick and easy.  Scramble 9 egg whites, put bag of frozen vegetables in the microwave and 15 minutes later you are eating.  It's even better if you happened to pick up those new bags of frozen veggies that you can microwave right in the bag!

Cilantro is nasty. I had dinner at this noodle place and it just ruined my Japanese pan noodles. The cilantro was used as a garnish and it just touched my noodles and left a nasty taste. *shudder*. After that first taste of cilantro, every bite had a feeling of fear to it...a fear that I would taste ass again. Barf.
