First of all, I just want to say that I like www.dictionary.com

Ok, now on to the point of my post. I just got off the phone with my dad. He was calling to invite me to dinner Saturday night (he's making enchiladas mmmm). Going to Dad's is a small roadtrip, he lives so far out in the 'burbs. I'm not even sure where he lives is even considered the suburbs. It's so far out west, you might get a nosebleed going out there. Dad and his wife have a lovely home out there. It's brand new, in a brand new manufactured community with neighborhood associations and covenants.

Well, it seems their idyllic little life out in BFE is about to come to an end because some developer want to put condos in!! Not apartments, condos. BUT!! What if somebody comes in and buys up a dozen units and turns them into rental properties? Then you might have young professionals who make $30,000-$40,000 a year and *GASP* they might want to park their beat up cars where they live and OH THE HORROR!!

Ok, so I might be exaggerating just a bit, but that's what I got out of the conversation. Maybe I was reading a little too much into the rant, and I'm sure he's very concerned about property value and all that, but all I heard is "You can come to dinner, but you can't live out here."

I'm getting to the point where I'm going to keep driving that car purely out of spite.
